If someone were to write a
book on the history of the legal profession in the Willamette
Valley, the name Rhoten would appear on more than a few pages.
In 1927, David A. Rhoten’s
father, Geo. A. Rhoten, began his law practice in Salem. David
grew up with his father’s firm, and in 1961 became a part of
Rhoten, Rhoten & Speerstra.
In 1984, David established a
separate practice in Salem. Lawrence W. Andrews became an
associate in the firm in 1987, and Jeffrey M. Strickland joined
the firm in 2003.
